After years of developing myself in a corporate setting, I grew increasingly frustrated with the atmosphere. The climate was all profit, I felt like a robot, not a person. There was always an element of conflict in my heart. I had to look inward, attempting to learn what my destination would be. Then one day, after many friends kept repeating the encouragement, I started my own business. I had no clue where this journey would take me, but jumped on that train full speed ahead. It's been a year now. The amount of personal growth and joy from this challenge blows my mind. I live life excited about every day.
I wanted to share the journey and lessons that come along the way. I'll take you through the struggles, wide array of emotions, and victories that come from any challenge. My goal is to aim for a happy, balanced, whole hearted, and fulfilled life for myself and everyone around me. I embrace the role of mentor, life coach, advocate, entrepreneur, friend, or whatever life calls me.
Join me on this journey. No matter the destination, life is about the journey there. This has been the most rewarding adventure for me, and I hope you can relate or find encouragement from what I share.
Interesting facts:
I am happily married to an Army veteran. He served in Iraq three times, 8 years total.
I am a wellness advocate, teaching and sharing ways to live a healthy life using natural solutions. I've had lots of success using these tools for my health care. I love helping other find answers and become empowered.
I am human with obstacles like everyone else. In school I was labeled with having a learning disability (mostly with English, I can't spell). I let this condition play too big a role in my life. It held me back in so many ways. Writing this blog is a way to challenge that insecurity head on, and yes, this makes me nervous.
I've created my first business making homemade soaps, salves, and lip balms. My husband helps me with expos and in making products. This is a picture of my Earl grey soap.
I'm creative and crafty by nature. I've dabbled in knitting, crocheting, scrapbooking, beading, and many other crafts.
This blog is a reflection of my journey. I share my interpretations of these experiences in hopes that someone might feel encouraged by them.
I hope you appreciate this blog, Courtney Juhl.
